Job Description*
- Perform soldering tasks for the purpose of assembly and/or re-work of populated/printed circuit boards
- Complete soldering tasks at the direction of the post lead, according to IPC J-, REV G, and IPC Class standards.
- Ensure correct alloy and flux composition is utilized at the direction of the post lead and as described per the job documentation.
- Ensure completed soldering tasks are cleaned/routed for proper cleaning.
- Self-inspect all soldering performed to ensure that complete and final assemblies are routed to Quality Assurance.
- Properly handle and care for soldering tools (tips, sponges, assembly tools, workstation mats. etc.).
- Maintain segregation and organization of consumable supplies and tools according to job requirements.
- Clear work area after job completion to ensure isolation of materials and requirements.
- Identify and introduce process improvements and/or non-conformances with the guidance of the post lead.
- Assist in set-up, maintenance, and/or operation of Selective Solder process.
- Perform prepping tasks.
- Perform assembly tasks
- Referencing job documentation, perform various assembly-related tasks to include jumper-wire routing, cable/hardware installation, etc. (according to J- and REV G standards).
- Self-inspect all soldering performed to ensure that complete and final assemblies are routed to Quality Assurance.
- Required Aptitude, Skills, & Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience soldering electronics, including surface mount and through hole components.
- Familiarity with J-STD-001.
- Flexibility and willingness to meet customer requirements (may entail extended work hours).

Compensation
Ranging from $15 to $20 hourly, depending on experience.
